Joseph Ladymon 2001
Joey Ladymon graduated from T.C. Williams with an impressive academic record and outstanding golfing talents. A hard worker, he also demonstrated his motivation by holding various jobs throughout high school in order to save money for college.
After graduating from the College of William and Mary, one of his most valuable professional experiences was working in the House of Commons in London, giving his pursuits an international focus. He has been able to learn first-hand about the governments of other nations and advanced from that base to obtain a master’s degree in Defense and Strategic Studies at Southwest Missouri State University in 2001.
Through The Fund and his Guidance Counselor, he received financial aid advice to help him apply for other forms of financial aid to be used along with his Fund award, including filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Obtaining state grant monies and working as a resident assistant, he graduated from the College of William and Mary debt-free. As a result, says Joey, “The Scholarship Fund has helped me to achieve my educational goals.”
